Fred Parris wrote the song “In the Still of the Night,” which his group Five Satins recorded.When it was originally released, it was a moderate hit, but it gained significant attention over time and is now regarded as one of the greatest doo-woop songs ever. Numerous artists have covered it, such as Debbie Gibson and Boyz II Men. It has also appeared in a number of motion pictures.
