2 hospitalized after small plane crash lands on golf course in Carson


A cooling trend continues in Southern California this weekend, bringing clouds and temperatures in the 60s and 70s.

CARSON, Calif. (KABC) — Two people were hospitalized after a small plane crash-landed on a golf course in Carson Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 3:47 p.m. at the Victoria Golf Course in the 300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. near the 405 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

No bystanders were hurt in the incident and there was no fire at the crash site, the agency said.

It was unclear how many people were in the aircraft at the time of the crash.

No further details were immediately known.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
